Mount Tabor and the Valley of Megiddo in bloom
oil on canvas, 16" x 20" by American Artist Hilary J. England
This luscious romantic fine art landscape fine art original oil painting is done plein air with quality oil paints, on canvas/linen, and varnished for protection.
"Mount Tabor and the Valley of Megiddo in bloom" is a secondary work based on a study that was done on-site in Israel. The original work was completed in acrylics, and as fieldwork, was a smaller size of 11" x 16". This larger canvas was created par Coeur in studio, based on the original studies.
The valley was gorgeous with a carpet of color in the wildflowers, and knowing this was a sacred valley to many was also quite humbling.
The painting is signed front and back, and is framed in a gold museum-quality frame.

âś® About the Artist âś®
Hilary J. England .. a professional artist and world traveler.
As a landscape painter .. many of these impressionist small oil studies are painted plein-air [on location] amid the magnificent regions of our earth.
I paint/work every day. Whether plein air or in-studio (sometimes both) and a variety of different mediums, including watercolor, pastel, and charcoal.
My work has won support from art collectors from all over the world. They are my fellow travelers with kindred vision and I greatly appreciate their support.
Kind regards,
Hilary J. England, Field's End Art Studio
