This romantic fine art oil painting Showpiece artwork is part of an ongoing series of Imaginative Realism, also called "Ghosts and Recollections." These paintings are metaphors for my life both as an Artist, but also of the different roles I've played in life, such as daughter, sister, mother, friend, and the experiences I've had in these roles.  This painting is a brief story of the overall of my life and to where it is now.  The central figure or "ghost" is my inner self. The various components represent different metaphors.  I keep this story for the viewer vague and somewhat obscure so that they can bridge the visual and create their own connections within the art.
